We would like this blog to be a space where we can share small pieces of news throughout the week, as well as thoughts from our team meetings, or Bible verses that are on our minds.
Recently, we have been blessed by two bouts of fundraising. A couple of months ago, a group of remarkable Year 7s from Bronte Girls' Academy chose Hope Housing to research and support as a part of their FirstGive project in school, and their efforts raised over £800! This is a staggering achievement, especially considering their age and limited resources. A couple of members of our Hope Housing admin team went to go watch their presentation in the FirstGive finalists ceremony, and we were so impressed by their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to the girls on coming second place!
Last week a sleep-out was organised in support of Hope Housing by Hassan, and held at Blues Hair Workshop. He managed to raise over £1000, a serious achievement, and we can't wait to see how these funds will be used to improve the quality of living for clients staying in our accommodation. Thank you Hassan!
The work we do would not be possible without your support. Fundraising is a great way to aid our mission, in regards to spreading awareness as well as financially. If you have any queries about fundraising, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us through our office email (contact@hopehousing.org.uk) or phone (01274 900764).
